Jesus is either our first love…or He’s not. There’s literally no in-between. But how in the world does this happen? How does a Christian go from “No price too great to show my love for Jesus” to, “My love for Jesus has died a lukewarm death?” While there are obvious answers like sin, compromise, and worldliness, I have found that it’s the not so recognizable love extinguishers that have been the biggest detriment to my love for Jesus.
